Bertazzoni Appliances
The Italians are Coming! NO - They're Here!!The Colors of Bertazzoni at Universal Appliance and Kitchen CenterIt's been a few years since Bertazzoni launched their appliances in the U.S. Now they've got some company with other Italian appliance brands joining in. Its great to have company. Nevertheless, Bertazzoni does have that something. - That je na sais quoi that makes it a stand out. Just check out this stunning range below:PRO48 6G DFS ARThis super-wide range has a cooktop with six gas burners, including a dual-ring power burner, high-efficiency burner with separately controlled flames, and a stainless-steel electric griddle. The main electric oven has nine functions, from convection, baking and roasting to warming and includes telescopic glide shelves. The pyrolytic oven linings requires no cleaning agents. High temperatures burn off fat and grease leaving a safe, easily disposed of residue. The useful auxiliary oven, without fan, has four modes. Quadruple-glass doors minimise heat loss.Matching range hood and backsplash available.Bertazzoni historyIt all started in the late 19th century when Francesco Bertazzoni, founder of the dynasty, saw wood burning stoves arriving in his home town Guastalla on a new railroad that connected with the industrial centers of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. These wood-burning stoves set Francesco to thinking, and with his son Antonio he decided to make stoves like the ones they had seen from the north – just for local use to begin with, and in very small quantities. So in 1882 the Bertazzoni company was born.To see more of the Bertazzoni appliance collection -

KBIS 2016 New Appliances
IBS/KBIS 2016 more new products...and one more thingLiebherr Under Counter Slide-Out RefrigeratorComing Soon to Universal Appliance and Kitchen CenterIt's no secret that there is considerable growth in the undercounter appliance category. At the January 2016 Kitchen and Bath Show (KBIS) in Las Vegas Liebherr showed a unique "pull-out" undercounter refrigerator. Here's what they said about the UPR 503:"The new UPR 503 undercounter pull-out refrigerator ensures that fresh food is always within reach. Combining high energy efficiency with optimal storage space, the UPR 503 can be adjusted in height to match that of the countertop for perfect alignment with your kitchen design. The UPR 503 offers maximum ease-of-use thanks to its SoftTelescopic system of self-retracting and fully-extendable tiered storage compartments. This is the perfect space-saving addition for any kitchen or living area."The growth in the undercounter appliance category is a reflection of the practicality and the increasing need for accessibility for everyone. This includes our largest demographic group, baby-boomers, as well as all those in our population who for any number of reasons don't have easy reach for food stored higher than counter height. While at one time, most under counter refrigerator products were inexpensive fridges for college dorm rooms, major luxury and specialty brands such as Sub Zero and U-line, and now Liebherr are recognizing that accessible is not age or price point driven, but need driven. Regardless of your interest in undercounter refrigerators or other major appliances and plumbing fixtures, you're sure to find what you need at Universal -

Appliance Rebates are back in 2016
UAKC has all the latest appliance rebatesFrom Bosch to Wolf, appliance rebates are alive and well at Universal Appliance and Kitchen Center in 2016.However, it's worth noting that none of the rebates currently listed below by UAKC are valid beyond mid-year. Many of them expire on or before the end of March. While rebates will surely come and go, it's always worth doing a little research when you're preparing to make a purchase. Check the rebates by clicking on the link below:UAKC APPLIANCE REBATES3 Guidelines for maximizing your rebate potential1. Be flexible with your purchases. Most rebates require that you do something to get something, eg. "buy this and get that free." There may be something on the "buy" side that you were not planning on buying. On the other hand, you may not be enthralled with the specific "free" item on the offer. Re-consider your options. Is it worth accepting a FREE dishwasher from brand X when you had planned buying a brand A dishwasher? Think again...FREE. 2. Purchase when the savings are there. The rebate offer expires in March, but you won't be ready for the product until May. If the savings are great enough, you may want to make the purchase a bit early. Ask if you can postpone delivery for a few weeks or perhaps store the appliances in your garage until you are ready. It should be worth some inconvenience to save a few hundred dollars or more.3. Don't forget Free is Free.So you get free -

New Appliances At 2016 CES
What's New in Appliances at CESOddly, CES (the Consumer Electronics Show) has become THE place for several appliance manufacturers to show their latest innovations. It's odd, since the rest of the appliance industry seems to have settled on the joint IBS (International Builders Show) /KBIS (Kitchen and Bath Industry Show) to display their wares. The IBS/KBIS show is to be held near the end of January also in Las Vegas. This year's CES hosted appliance manufacturers showing refrigerators with touch screens, fridges that revealed their contents with a knock on the door, and a refrigerator that claims to have re-invented ways to organize your refrigerator. Not to mention an interesting update on a washing machine within a washing machine that was launched at last year's CES.Knock on the door of this refrigeratorThe "smart" refrigerator from LG is loaded with high tech features, but the most interesting feature requires a manual knock on the door which activates a lighting system that reveals the contents inside the fridge.Washer Washer DryerIn 2015, LG first launched this washer within a washer, eg. a full-sized washer with a mini washer in a bottom compartment. This year, it appears that the full-sized washer has been converted to a combo full-sized washer/dryer still with mini washer at the bottom.Easy to Organize French Door RefrigeratorFrench Door refrigerators have become so popular partly because of the ease of seeing and arranging the contents. In this new CES award winning refrigerator from Whirlpool, redesigned lighting, shelves and compartments as well
