A Must Have For Throwing This Fall's Unforgettable Wine Get-Together. Here's what Liebherr has to say about their wine unit and the proper temperature to serve wine.

For the ultimate wine connoisseur, Liebherr’s WS 17800 unit gives wine enthusiasts premium wine storage in an attractive package. The 26” wine cabinet can store up to 178 bottles in 3 different temperature zones, targeting wine drinkers at all levels. With its sleek stainless steel surround, the unit stands alone adding an elegant design detail to any dining or recreation room, while providing the utmost protection for fine wines. As in all Liebherr wine storage units, special attention is paid to conditions that may affect storage, such as vibration, light, air quality, humidity, and temperature.

Proper temperature to serve wine

To appreciate wines at their full potential, Liebherr has developed some helpful tips on wine serving. Follow this guide to make your wine party a successful gathering:

White wine is often served too cold. Generally, white wine should be served between 46° F (8° C) and 50° F (10° C)

Red wine tastes better at the perfect temperature. Dry red wines are at their best between 57-68° F (14-20° C) whereas light red and rosé wines are enhanced when served at a temperature between 50-58° F (10-12° C)

Desert wines are perfect around 46° F (8° C) and sparkling wines and champagne should be served around 41° F (5° C)
