So I've started looking up small businesses on Facebook and Twitter because I know a lot of them are starting to offer discounts to their social media fans, and since I just moved into a new place and need a bunch of new kitchen stuff, I thought I'd try to find some appliance places on these sites. Thirty years ago a side-by-side refrigerator with ice and water through the door sold for around $1500. Today, you can get a name brand for side-by-side ice and water through the door for under $1000.
