Appliance Manufacturer Rebates and Offers
Rebates Now Available at Universal Appliance and Kitchen Center There was a time...back in the 80's when there was no such thing as an appliance rebate. Apparently, manufacturer rebates first began to appear in retail stores such as grocers as a variation on coupons. Instead of redeeming coupons at the grocer, consumers had to mail them in with proof of purchase. Eventually, rebates spread to other businesses and today they are a major part of appliance retailing. GE was an early adopter of rebate promotions to encourage buyers to purchase GE appliances. click on the photo below for details: Manufacturers use rebates as part of their overall marketing program to encourage consumers to buy their brand, but just as importantly to buy a specific appliance model or even a complete kitchen appliance package. For a long time, rebates were limited to the popular mass brands such as Frigidaire, GE, and Whirlpool. Luxury brands Sub Zero Wolf, Viking, and others eschewed rebates in the beginning, but eventually succumbed to using rebates as a promotional tactic. click on the photo below for details: It's good to know, however, that rebates DO come and go. All rebate programs are going to have beginning dates and expiration dates. Rebates might last for a year, but they also might be good only for a few days. It's always going to be a good idea to check with the experts at Universal Appliance and Kitchen Center to find out what rebates are available when you are -

Plumbing lines such as Brizo, KWC, Toto, Everpure, and many more will also exhibit. Trade shows allow manufacturers to display their products to the builders, contractors, dealers, distributors, designers, and remodelers who purchase and use their products. Manufacturers often show new products to get opinions and recommendations from industry veterans. The shows also provide an annual opportunity for customers to meet with suppliers, discuss concerns, and plan the year ahead. Just to give you an idea, induction cooking has been previewed at these shows for at least 10-15 years. Now, it is finally a reality with nearly all cooking product manufacturers offering some induction cooktops and/or ranges. Similarly, various speed cooking products have been shown over the years with mixed success. Both GE and Whirlpool have versions (Advantium and Velos) on the market now, but Thermador's Jet Impingement system shown in the early 2000's never launched. What will we see this year? Odds are there will be -

Deciding between Stainless Appliances and Cabinet Panels
Stainless vs Cabinet Panels - Pros and Cons Many appliances such as refrigerators, dishwashers, wine chillers, and ice makers can be purchased with stainless steel fronts or panel ready to accept optional cabinet fronts. In many cases, these are "integrated" allowing the appliance to completely blend in with surrounding cabinets, though adding cabinet panels to your appliances will also add cost. So the question might be, "Do you want your appliances to blend in or would you prefer that your appliances stand out?" Some appliances are just so dominant, that it makes no sense to try to hide them. Look at this Sub Zero Pro 48 Refrigerator. It dominates the kitchen and demands attention. On the other hand, this integrated suite of GE Monogram refrigerator and wine units, tastefully blends into the room and makes a subtle statement of its own.Dishwashers, are appliances that really lend themselves to cabinet panels and can often seamlessly blend into the lower cabinets. Look for a dishwasher that is designed to fit "flush" in a 24" deep cabinet enclosure. Increasingly, we're seeing refrigerator and freezer drawer units, which are great for Universal Design and also nicely lend themselves to cabinet panels. Another great advantage to this appliance category is that they are go anywhere appliances, so they fit in with the design concept of "point of use" appliances. We see them in pantries, rec rooms, and about anyplace -

Here are some things that you should know about claiming your appliance rebates: Purchase dates are firm. There really isn't any wiggle room here. Purchases must be made within the prescribed time, and invoices dated accordingly. Otherwise your claim will be rejected. Submission dates are firm. Rebate forms not only specify that the purchase must have occurred during the prescribed time, but that the claim be submitted and postmarked by a specific date. Accuracy is important. All t's must be crossed and i's must be dotted. Double check important details such as serial numbers, dates, and dollar amounts. Third parties often remove the dealer AND the manufacturer from the claims process. Appliance manufacturers typically hire other firms to handle the processing of claim payments. Don't expect that your sales associate will be able to help you with a rejected claim. They don't have much that they can do with these claim processing firms. The -
