Universal Appliance and Kitchen Center Ratings and Reviews (8)
Customers Write (8) Leon- 100% professional and very knowledgeable David W. Malibu, CA I was a high-end custom home builder for 20 + years, including homes on the Beach in Malibu and the hills of West LA. I recently discovered Universal Appliance and Kitchen Center. I visited the store on Ventura Boulevard in Studio City. The salesperson who assisted me was Leon. He was 100% professional, very knowledgeable and placed no pressure to buy. Leon was hands down the best appliance sales professional I have dealt with in my entire career. The shop had a pleasing environment-almost a family feeling even though Universal is a sophisticated chain of appliance and kitchen specialty stores. Additionally, their prices were the best I have found. I am going to replace all the appliances in my kitchen to update and convert to a stainless steel finish and I will definitely purchase everything from Leon at Universal. I recommend Universal without hesitation. Experience the best in selection, service, and satisfaction - not to mention the GREAT PRICES you'll get when you shop at Universal Appliance and Kitchen Center (UAKC). David W. is an experienced appliance buyer, but he'd never come across a sales professional like Leon, or a dealership that can match UAKC for service and price. He's replacing all the appliances in his kitchen, and plans to get everything from Lon at UAKC. Call or visit today, Universal Appliance and Kitchen Center is your headquarters for new appliances and plumbing fixtures. Two locations to -

Customers Write (3) Christine keeps coming back to UAKC for all her appliance needs. Christine K. Studio City, CA I have been a customer there for many years and have purchased several appliances through store manager Long Trinh and his associates. Recently, we had to buy a refrigerator, to replace one that was losing cooling ability. Over a period of weeks, Mr. Trinh helped determine which refrigerator best fit our needs and was honest and forthright about getting me best value and price. His assistant manager Maida facilitated the transaction and informed me about a manufacturer's rebate program then in effect. On delivery day, Michael & Serg professionally installed the refrigerator, taking care with the unit, floors, and furniture. They also took care in drilling holes for the ice maker water line, removed all packaging and installed shelves, and levelled the unit. They also made sure it was working before leaving. We have bought appliances from several companies over the years, and I can say without hesitation that it is the personal care and relationship we have with Universal Appliance and Kitchen Center, and particularly Long Trinh, that keeps us coming back for appliance needs, including service. Thank you, Universal Appliance and Kitchen Center, and we appreciate you and will refer you to our friends! Experience the best in selection, service, and satisfaction - not to mention the GREAT PRICES you'll get when you shop at Universal Appliance and Kitchen Center (UAKC). Christine K received help from Long Trinh and Maida -

Paying too much for appliances?
Great Appliances at Great Prices Is it better to pay a little too much for your appliances or to pay not quite enough? Here's a famous quote from John Ruskin: It is unwise to pay too much, but it is worse to pay too little. When you pay too much, you lose a little money ..... that is all. When you pay too little you sometimes lose everything, because the thing that you bought was incapable of doing the things it was bought to do. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot .... it cannot be done. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk that you run. And if you do that you will have enough to pay for the something better' - John Ruskin (1819 - 1900) Of course, nobody wants to pay too much! Here's a great way to make sure that you get your appliances for a fair price. Pick the right place to shop. When is the right time to buy appliances?
Buying appliances when prices are low. People often ask, "Is there a season or time of year when appliance prices are the lowest?" Regardless of when they ask this question, there is an answer that is always right: "To get the lowest prices on appliances the best time to buy is now." Here's why. Regardless of sale events, which are also good times to buy appliances, the best prices on appliances are now because of the general increase in manufacturing costs. Consider the fact that the major component of appliances is steel, and steel prices have been rising since WWII with few if any interruptions (even during recessions). Factories have wrung all the cost savings out of manufacturing that are likely to be had for a long time to come, and productivity is at an all time high. This means that prices are likely to increase even in times of low inflation such as now because the demand for steel is not lessening. Looking specifically at the US appliance market going into 2013, most manufacturers are likely to have price increases in early 2013. Promotions such as rebates and cash backs will continue, but appliance firms will look for ways to reduce the amounts and time lengths of their promotional offerings. It's a safe bet that if you take advantage of a purchase opportunity now you'll be glad you acted sooner rather than later. Here's an example of an opportunity to save up to $2500 on a Wolf and Sub-Zero
