2017 model leaks GAS!

I moved into a completely renovated home will all LG appliances. I LITERALLY have been here a total of 10 months. Because I was an Empty Nester this cook-top was hardly used. When my daughter came home because of Covid-19, we found ourselves cooking three meals a day. She was home 3 weeks and it started leaking gas from the knob, like so many other people complain about. I went to get it fixed, the tech told me,By the time I take it to the shop, take it a part, order parts and return it..you COULD GET A NEW ONE UUUGGHHH!!!! Really??!! This cook-top is circa 2017!! NOT 2007!!!! Soooooooo disappointing! and of course..we're out of warranty :o(

Knobs are cheap and break easily

When remodeling our kitchen in 2014 we purchased this cook top; love it! Now in 2020, the stainless steel liner is showing it's age due to heavy cooking. Use a stainless steel cleaner to keep it clean. The knobs and i.d. on the stainless steel liner by the knobs are starting to fade due to cleaning but OK. The grates are still in great condition. It's a great cook top and would purchase again.

What a difference a new LG Cook top makes. Looks good works great. Only issue is the plastic control knobs, they should be made of stainless steel.
