I was so excited to find a reasonably priced induction cooktop without knobs! This is so easy to clean and looks great.

We have had our Frigidaire induction cooktop for about a month now and we are very happy with it. We paid double the cost of the cooktop to detach our gas stove and convert to electric but it was worth it. Now my kitchen looks clean and sleek. I love cooking on it on my new Hexclad pans. There is a learning curve but that was to be expected. I would recommend this cooktop based on my experience so far. My husband loves it too.

Never thought I would like an electric cooktop, but heats in a second, great control. Cleaning is a breeze and looks very cool.

Overall, I am happy with my purchase. Be aware that granite installation needs an additional kit. It would have been nice to know that up front.

I purchased my induction cooktop on 6/27/2021. I didn’t receive it until July 2021. In the year that I had it, we would occasionally get the “E9” error message. When we did, we shut off the power to the cooktop and then back on after a minute and that “fixed” it. In September 2022 this happened again but nothing we did would make “E9” go away. I called customer service and was told that i was just outside of the warranty window and they referred me to repair companies. The repair person I use told me I likely need a new board and burner which would cost $530 for the parts alone, not counting the labor. I spent $720 this cooktop, so fixing it won’t be worth it. I feel cheated by Frigidaire. I thought this was a brand name that was reliable. Is there anything more that can be done for me?
