An illusion

We got this microwave to replace a previous monogram that stopped working. The microwave looks nice and is quiet but, they clearly cut costs when making it. It is half the weight of our previous microwave, and the door doesnÕt open sometimes. This may be a defect with our particular microwave, IÕm going to contact GE to see how we can remedy it. I had high expectations for this microwave but we are disappointed. We really wanted to replace the old microwave with a convection /advantium.IÕm not sure why they make it in a profile but not a monogram?

This is the third GE MONOGRAM built-in microwave model we bought in the past 15 years. This middle canÕt compare to the previous two which were much better.

Even though says SS for stainless, no stainless is on the unit. Must buy trim kit specific to unit as this as a replacement to GE Monogram of same size will not work
