This is our first microwave over the range. The height makes it so convenient to use. Our kitchen looks larger without appliances on the counter.

Loudest Microwave Ever

Microwave was installed 2 weeks ago and it is the loudest thing ever. Vent goes hard every time it is used. This means it is either poorly made or there is something wrong with the heating element and the vent is on to compensate for that. In either case something is wrong. Will never buy LG ever again.

Only Two Issues with LMV1764ST

I have this microwave Agee weeks. Otiss replacement for an older model. It does not have a timer. I thought they all had them. Didnt check. Also the control panel is very dark. The kitchen light has to be on for me to see it. I thought perhaps there was a plastic covering over the panel but no one found one. With most functions that is not a problem. But with some it is. That said the microwave works well. Ive used the timed power the add40seconds the melt and the soften functions. All work well. Appliances are so expensive during this economic period that it would be nice if what you buy fulfills your requirements. Again the microwave WORKS.

Overall a fairly good product and functions as expected. There are some quality issues though. I have owned the microwave less than a year and the display already is flickering.
