Stopped working in first year

my daughter bought a condo in october, 2021 that had all new samsung appliances. by december, the microwave stopped working (everything still worked except for the crucial part -heating food!) the sticker inside the door said it was manufactured in january, 2021, so it was less than a year old and clearly under warranty. she contacted samsung, and they couldn't find a service technician who worked on samsung products in the area, so they offered her a check for $340 (even though the same microwave sells on their website for $449). needless to say, her newly purchased microwave is not a samsung!

I bought this microwave to replace an older Samsung model that was damaged and I'm glad I did. There are a lot of great features and I haven't finished exploring all of them yet. It heats the food to a good temperature and the temp of the food is consistent throughout. It seems to cook everything even as I don't find cold spots or spots on the food that are scorching. It's quieter than the older model, which I appreciate. Recommended.
