i expected more from them. out of nowhere, i start hearing a thumping during drying cycles. a quick inspection reveals a substantial crack in the drum, with jagged edges guaranteed to shred clothes. i reached out for a repair person, only to find that the part alone was going to cost over 400 bucks. whats more, the steam nozzle (alsk a mystery casualty) is no longer available on its own...id have to replace the entire rear bulkhead. the cost of the two parts alone were more expensive than the replacement that i bought this evening. hey samsung, i get it...people replace phones every 2-3 years and spend a grand every time, but thats not viable for home appliances. do better, and stop peddling this inferior garbage.

owned 3 years in september and this happen all of a sudden. no help from samsung. the warranty ran out in september and i contacted the warranty company in november. very disappointed with this product. i have and still own several samsung products. wish samsung would make it right. i feel it is a defect in the machine itself and not from drying clothes.

hello, i recommend you do all due diligence before purchasing samsung appliances. all my kitchen appliances in the kitchen and laundry are samsung. so far out of 5 appliances 3 failed.

I bought this dryer and its washing mate a year ago. I thought Samsung products were superior. Boy was I duped. I took it for granted that any clothes dryer would have a No Heat cycle—my preferred cycle for most of my clothes. This one’s lowest heat t setting is Extra Low. It is NOT extra low. My second gripe is the My Setting feature. It was a major selling point for me. However, when I first got the machine, I inadvertently hit the My Setting button, not realizing it couldn’t be reset . I called customer support—total waste of my time. As far as I could understand, the only way to change the setting is to unplug the machine for or an indeterminate time and replug. My dryer is next to to the washer in a space created for them. I never expected to have to pull it all the way out to set a function. The instruction booklet would be best used beside the toilet. Just sayin. Oh...one more thing, the controls are not user friendly—they require more study time than is reasonable. I’m so sorry I bought the pair. Beware!
