Very poorly designed. Piece of Junk!!!!

we were so excited when we purchased this washer but our excitement lasted only 6 months. the first issue was with upper washer door latch broke when trying to open it normally. it was under warranty so i got that fixed but now the same issue happened again after 8 months of use, the latch just came off. very poor quality and design for such an expensive washer. just to fix the broken latch the entire door must be replaced and it took 8 hrs to fix it . the tech admits that he received lot of complaints and the latch is prone to break easily due to poor design and quality.apart from this we just started receiving error codes 188j and now i cannot use the lower washer i regret upgrading to samsung washer/dryer . very expensive to fix these issues outside the warranty.

i bought this washer two years ago, snd i love it ! the santize is great and the drum holds a king bedspread with ease ! the top small washer is perfect for small loads like my gym gear and delicates . the only pain is when i need to clean the filter . i really do need to buy a bottom drawer unit thing to raise the machine so it can be drained easier before pulling the filter out to be cleaned . it probably wouldnt be an issue for most but i have a great pyranese and a collie shepard mix along with a couple of long haired cats so their hair gets everywhere so i need to clean the filter more often . if the machine was lifted about 6+ inches it woukd make the draining much easier . other than that , this machine is the best.

since i purchased this item in 2017. it continues to have the same error 1lc and lc for top washer. throughout this time when calling samsung i am given the same instruction to disconnect and allow to dry. having to do this extra work and waiting to have to do laundry defeats the point of having a washer. samsung has had many complaints about this issue and has yet to issue any overall fix or recall.

I purchased the samsung flexwash & dryer last March. The washer ran for exactly 16 months before it stopped working altogether. When the device stopped working the service center sent the wrong part twice before giving up and saying it could not be repaired I paid thousands of dollars for junk. I have purchased samsung devices in the past but never again. I expect a washer and dryer to last 10 + years but i would have been satisfied with 5 years.
