We bought this product 10 months ago. We have had to contact Kitchen Aid FIVE times because the unit quit working. We have had five service calls on the unit; all of which said they "fixed" the problem. We were told last time that if it quit again, they would replace it. Well, it quit, and we were told "too bad, deal with it." But, they gave us a $75 visa card for our problems. This is poor service, poor workmanship, and overall lousy business. DO NOT BUY FROM KITCHENMAID!

Great ice cubes

We have had it for 4 months love it but 3 problems with it . Makes high pitch noise , water leak from tube and water reservoir Is broken ! Very expensive! And I was told by the delivery person that if anything goes wrong in the first year , demand a new one ! Whirlpool will not give me one . They want to try and fix it . So I have to wait at least 2 weeks for parts , and they are not sure what the noise is caused by ?? Nice service man , but I’m disappointed in the company. I spent 18000$ on appliances. I hope it can be fixed and not give us trouble again. They push for extended warranty!! Just more money !

Easy install, and quality ice

Purchased this unit from Home Depot.com, and was replacing a Marvelle unit. The KitchenAid was easy to install, and immediately began producing high-quality ice. The light in the ice chamber is bright, and the unit is very quiet
