Refrigerator came with house we bought - both were 6 months old. This was a second refrigerator in a downstairs kitchenette. It's fabulous!! Love the doors, cooling, freezer space, convenience for drinks, ice dispenser, and depth. Wasn't expecting all this. For a 2nd refrigerator, it's over the top. Really pleased.

Craft Ice Issue, Door Slamming Issue One Side and

Ice out put is pathetic, door slams in the left, frost building up on plastic shelf front in freezer, for the money worse refrigerator IÕve ever purchased. WeÕve only had this refrigerator 72 hours and am terrified of what else is to come.

I brought this refrigerator 2 months ago, their replacing the mother board already, have a defrosting problem with leakage out of the water dispener, craft ice melted then refroze. Technican said more problems to watch out for with compressor and with refrigerator/freezer defrosting every few month.Not happy right now to spend that kind of money to buy a bad product.

My first (and probably last) LG refrigerator

I bought this refrigerator in the fall of 2019, replacing a BOSCH refrigerator installed by my builder. What I noticed right away was how much quieter this LG refrigerator is compared to the BOSCH, which is great because of my open floor plan (and the fact that my home office is right below the kitchen). I initially experienced some trouble with getting the LG refrigerator connected to the app. A needed code simply was not included with the documentation. And the model was so new when I bought it that when I called LG customer service they told me they weren't even finding my model in their system. After several frustrating and unhelpful calls (including one in which the rep just flat hung up on me) I finally got the code number and was able to connect the fridge to the app. It was clear to me that whoever was in charge of the documentation had just not thought through the customer experience. And the calls to LG for help had quickly made it clear to me that LG's customer service is significantly broken as it is not serving customers well.As an enthusiastic bourbon drinker, one of the features I was most excited about with this model was the craft ice maker. But within six months of install it began making a load banging sound which I could not remedy. So I had to have a technician come out and do a warranty repair. During that repair visit the technician broke one of the plastic shelves on one of the doors. He told me he'd order a replacement and would have it shipped directly to me. Long story short, it took the better part of a year and 8 calls to customer service to get that stupid shelf. I won't get into the level of incompetence and the complete and total lack of accountability on display with most of those transactions.And now (with my fridge out of warranty), the craft ice maker has failed again just about a year after it was replaced. Reading other reviews here about this model and other failures, I'm wondering if I should count myself lucky that it is only the craft ice maker that isn't working. I've owned other refrigerators (from Sub-Zero and BOSCH for years without any incident). So the fact that this LG fridge has caused so much trouble in a short time does not exactly endear me to the idea of buying any other major appliances in the future from LG.
